A Good Friday reflection
Father, forgive them, they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)
Forgiveness should always be in the heart of every Christian. Often we say that we love God but we utter hatred to a brother out of an offense but Jesus, in one of His reminders to us said ; "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." – Matthew 22:37-39
Therefore, forgiveness is an after effect of our love and if we say we love God but don't know how to forgive then we don't know what is love.
Can we forgive just like how Jesus forgave those who made fun of Him while He was hanging naked on the cross? He did it all out of love ❤️❤️❤️
"And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love."
